On October 17-19th amazing ground breaking (pun intended) work was done. In collaboration with non-profit Divinekinship, we set up the first of earthworks to establish a food forest garden to eradicate food deserts in south Dallas, TX for the homeless, needy, and under privileged. We had a blast both in the classroom and on site. Enjoy the photos below.
Walking to the site.

Explaining to Ben (equipment operator) what we are doing in front of class (very important to communicate effectively)

Getting a little further – running into soft and hard sand stone – Ben has his work cut out for him
Observing and learning
Group shot
Had to have a little air guitar
We collaborated and did this course and site set up at the Divinekinship Permaculture Community Gardens which eradicates food deserts for the homeless, needy, and under privaleged in south Dallas, TX
Was a great time!
