Here we’re sharing a cool resource from our colleagues at Wild Abundance. They run a school for permaculture, homesteading, and natural building in the southern Appalachian mountains, near Asheville, NC. Based on nearly 2 decades of experience living with the land and applying permaculture principles to a variety of sites and situations, they created this for you:

It’s got something for everyone who wants to dive into a permaculture project, however great or small. Whether you’ve already got land you’re working with, or you dream of having your own place someday, there are tips, exercises, and resources here that will be helpful. The guide for living off the land is broken up into four sections:

Looking for Land: Questions, Considerations, Resources

Skills for Living off the Land

The First Year(ish) of your Permaculture Land Project
