Blackland Prairie Permaculture Course
Four Days / Two Weekends
May 20, 21 and 27, 28
Learn local Blackland Prairie (North Texas) ecology and which permaculture strategies to use to regenerate it and your homestead/landscape. Taught by Permaculturist Nicholas Burtner & Geologist Monica Kelley.
The Blackland Prairie Permaculture Course is a different kind of course. What you won’t learn within this course are design principles, and don’t look for a permaculture design certificate here either..
What you DO get is a MYOPIC LASER BEAM of information, technique, and strategy that is targeted specifically for regenerating your landscape in the Blackland Prairie region of North Texas.
We recommend this class for people who are serious about in-depth learning about their region, along with specific permaculture strategies that they can utilize within it. This class benefits both the permaculture student/practitioner who has already obtained knowledge and is ready to double down on more local knowledge and skill. It’s also exceptionally beneficial for the beginner.
At the end of this 4 day course you will have a deep understanding of your region, it’s history, it’s maps, it’s resources, the tests you want to take, and of course the regenerative permaculture strategies that you can start implementing on your property. The class is steal at only $60 per day.
We have been asked to provide this type of course for a long time and will make it available only twice a year for the serious practitioner/student. If you are ready to get started with implementation then this course is for you.
